The Dollywood Foundation selects the books and covers the printing cost. Shipping and handling is funded locally through donations from individuals/groups/businesses, grants, and fundraisers. The cost for Imagination Library of Franklin County to provide a child with a book each month is approximately $30 per year.

Any child between birth and 5 years old who is a resident of Franklin County is eligible for the program and can enroll at the Brookville or Laurel Public Libraries.
